Moment of Truth

Hip-Hop lost one of it's most beloved, respected and influential rappers of all time earlier this week: Guru. Many know him as one-half of Gang Starr along with DJ Premier. Guru is credited with combining jazz and hip-hop that proved to be highly influential in the early 90's and is known for his trademark battle rhymes. It's always sad to lose such a well-known and highly respected person who paved the way for many, many acts. But I am glad to considered myself a fan of his work. Thank you Guru for making dope music for 20 plus years.

For What Reason

Probably for the past year I've been talking a lot of shit about the "Twilight Saga". I don't think the story is all that amazing, nor do I think the films are that great, but I wouldn't say they're terrible. I even bear a slight resemblence to Jacob Black. Yet after all of that, I had a dream that I had a dream that I was Jacob Black and fighting some vampires in a really gnarly battle and I was able to fly, which I'll admit that was the best part of the dream. Why I would dream of that only God knows.

How ironic.

Suffocating Words

Instead of a cough I end up getting the worst sinuses and nose congestivness in my life. I was able to focus in my geography class for maybe a good 5 seconds. Been listening to some gnar tunes tonight, probably reflecting on how I feel. God I better go to sleep fast tonight and chances are won't be able to breath good too.
